GENESIS

Kendriya Vidyalaya,Jhajjar is the most prestigious institution spread over 10 acres of land. Established in 1967 and affiliated to CBSE, which is the largest educational board in the country.

VISION

To cater to the educational needs of the children of transferable Central Government employees including Defence and Para-Military personnel by providing a common programme of education.

MISSION

To initiate and promote experimentation and innovativeness in education in collaboration with other bodies like the CBSE and the NCERT etc.

The teachers build the roadmap for the success of the Vidyalaya. They readily adapt themselves to the challenges of a constantly changing educational scenario and keep updating themselves with the best and innovative practices. They are the one who guide, motivate and inspire children to innovate, create and aspire to accomplish their dreams. Teachers’ role in envisioning the objectives of NEP 2020 is indispensible. We look forward for the comprehensive implementation of all the aspects of NEP 2020 for the all round development of the students of Kendriya Vidyalayas under the aegis of KVS Gurugram Region. Unity in diversity is the hallmark of Kendriya Vidyalayas, where children in a heterogeneous setting learn beyond their textbooks. I believe that excellence in education is aided by creating a learning environment in which all stakeholders are supported in maximizing their potential and talents. The first century poet Virgil said, “They are able because they think they are able.” This is a basic tenet of my philosophy of education. I believe in demonstrating care and commitment to academic excellence in a secure and safe environment. My first consideration is always what is in the best interest of the students. My goal is to promote academic excellence and continuous school improvement. I am a visionary leader, dedicated to total school improvement. I believe in leading the school community to embrace sound pedagogical change. I see the role of the principal as providing the leadership necessary for the school to educate all students to meet or exceed the provincial academic standards. Education needs to focus on personalized learning and instruction, while promoting an education system that is equitable, universally accessible, and meeting the needs of all students. It is not a case of “one-size-fits-all.” Education needs to be tailored to the individual student. The achievement of students should be of paramount importance in a successful learning organization. I believe in holding high expectations for students and staff, and in acknowledging those achievements. I work to ensure that curriculum, instructional strategies, and integrated technologies are designed to enable students to learn. It is important to secure teachers committed to critical reflection and coach them to excel. Every child is unique, calling from us imaginative and engaged pedagogy. The utilization of data to measure our success and ascertain changes is imperative to improving student achievement. The importance of obtaining and analyzing data is often overlooked but is so critical to tailoring education for improved student achievement. Education is a continuous and fascinating journey, not a destination. I strive to provide the leadership that will enable all stakeholders to realize the benefits of the journey. By working together, let us produce a learning environment that is exciting, innovative, and creative for our students, equipping them to face the challenges of the 21st Century.
